Website Analysis: How are competitors increasing their Average Order Value (AOV), Lifetime Value (LTV), and conversion rates? Reverse engineer their checkout and add-to-cart pages.
Offer Analysis: Note their discounts, bundles, subscriptions, or free gifts. Choose to either model their success or differentiate your brand entirely.
Ad Library Analysis: Audit the Meta Ads Library to see exactly what image, video, and carousel formats they are paying to run.
2. Creative Research

Solution Aware: They know the solution, but not your specific product.
Most Aware: They know your brand and just need a nudge to buy.

You have built the ads. Now it is time to manage the data without acting on emotion.
The 2-Week Test: Launch your ads and leave them alone for at least 14 days so Meta's algorithm has time to find your buyers. This is crucial for budgets under £200 per day.
Calculate Break-Even Cost Per Purchase (CPP): Know the exact cost at which you lose money.
Turn OFF ads that cost more than your break-even point.
Keep RUNNING ads that are below your break-even point.
The 80/20 Flywheel:
Dedicate 80% of your time and resources to the ad formats that are already winning. For example, if UGC videos are winning, make more UGC videos.
Dedicate 20% of your resources to testing brand new concepts.
Refresh your research every two weeks, launch new creatives, and repeat the cycle.
🚀 Phase 4 - Scaling to 100K

Once your ads are highly profitable and running smoothly below your break-even point, it is time to scale up to the 100K mark. Do not scale until you meet these strict criteria:
The Scaling Checklist:
Profitability: Your Cost Per Purchase is 20% below your break-even point. If your break-even is £10, your CPP needs to be £8 before you scale.
New Audience Frequency: Must be below 2.0. This ensures that when you increase the budget, you are reaching new customers instead of spamming the same people three or four times. If your frequency is over 2, you need to go back and make better ads.
The Scaling Strategies:
Normal Scaling: Increase your budget by 10% to 20% every Monday. Monday scaling gives you a balanced view of the week's performance.
Aggressive Scaling for Q4 or Holidays: Increase your budget by 10% to 20% every Monday AND Thursday.
